Tokyo-based global gaming company expanding into Europe (Malta, Poland and other EU markets) is seeking a Global Business Development Manager.
We welcome international applicants currently in Japan or planning to relocate.
This is not a translator-only position. You will work directly with executives and contribute to real international business expansion.
Responsibilities
・Participate in executive-level meetings with European partners
・Provide business-level English ⇄ Japanese consecutive interpretation
・Support contract negotiations and strategic partnership discussions
・Conduct research on European markets, regulations, and industry trends
・Assist in overseas expansion strategy planning and execution
・Attend international exhibitions and business events (Europe business trips possible)
・Act as a communication bridge between Japan headquarters and overseas partners
Requirements
・Business-level English (required)
・Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent preferred)
・Experience in B2B interpretation or international business development
・Ability to work in cross-cultural business environments
・Comfortable working directly with executives and senior management
Preferred Qualifications
・Experience in gaming, entertainment, or online services industry
・Experience working with European companies
・Russian language proficiency (advantage for Eastern European markets)
Compensation
・Annual salary: JPY 4.2M – 8.0M (based on experience and qualifications)
・Annual salary system (paid in 12 equal monthly installments)
・Fixed overtime allowance for 30 hours per month included (additional overtime paid separately)
・Transportation allowance provided
・Social insurance included
Working Conditions
・Employment type: Full-time
・Working hours: 11:00–20:00 (aligned with European time zones)
・Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday)
・Japanese national holidays off
