We are looking for freelance tour guides in Tokyo, Kamakura, Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima who are reliable, communicative, and genuinely interested in sharing Japan with international guests.
This is not a typical tour company. We value honesty, personality, and real human interaction over scripted guiding. If you are someone who can connect with people and deliver a solid experience, you will fit well here.
This is a freelance position. You choose tours based on your availability.
Hiring Process:
1. Quick interview - we get to know each other (be honest and yourself)
2. Join one of our demo tours - observe and see if this suits you
3. Final discussion (~30 minutes)
4. Run your first solo tour - if successful, you are officially onboard
What to Expect:
- Flexible schedule - take tours when you are available
- A supportive and straightforward team
Requirements:
- Fluent English (required)
- Additional languages are a strong plus (Italian, French, German, etc.)
- Conversational Japanese (for navigation, basic interactions)
- Good understanding of Japanese customs and etiquette
- Good knowledge of Japanese culture, history, and religions
- Valid visa allowing freelance work in Japan

- Can take responsibility and work independently
