Position Overview
We run an interactive Gameboy modding workshop in Akihabara, Tokyo, welcoming international visitors from around the world. We're looking for a warm, English-speaking staff member who can guide guests through a hands-on modding experience — no prior modding knowledge required.

Who we want
Foreign nationals, returnees & international students in Japan
What You'll Do
Lead workshop sessions in English, guiding guests step-by-step
Help participants mod their Gameboys hands-on (training provided)
Set up and clean up materials and tools
Handle check-in and basic reception duties
What We're Looking For
Native or fluent English speaker — you'll be running the whole session in English
Foreign national, returnee, or international student based in Japan
Friendly and clear communicator — comfortable working with beginners
Patient, hands-on, good at explaining things step by step
Available for daytime or evening shifts in Akihabara
Nice to Have
Interest in retro gaming, Gameboy, electronics, or DIY
Prior experience as an instructor, tour guide, or in hospitality
Experience at workshops, experience-based venues, or cultural tours
No modding experience needed — full training provided from day one!
