About the Musashi Seki Branch:
Located just a short 1 minute walk from Musashi Seki Station, HOPPA Musashi Seki is 1 of the 95 HOPPA nursery schools across Japan, which children ages 0-5 attend and enjoy a mixed English and Japanese environment. We are hoping to hire spirited English teachers who can confidently work as part of our enthusiastic team!

Job Description:
You'll teach playful and engaging English lessons to adorable Japanese preschoolers aged 0–2, Monday through Friday. No Japanese required—just your enthusiasm and warm smile! If you do speak Japanese, that’s a bonus, as you’ll also be part of a caring team of Japanese teachers that supports the kids in their daily routines, like washing hands, getting dressed, and exploring the world through hands-on activities and daily walks to the local park, and more!
Requirements:
- Must currently reside in Japan.
- Must speak fluent English with clear pronunciation.
- Must possess a valid visa (Specialist in Humanities, Spouse, Long Term Resident or Permanent Resident) with at least 5-6 months remaining until the expiry.
- Experience in early childhood education and teaching English.
Position Details:
- Full time teaching contract (renewable)
- Opportunity for permanent role — After completing 1 year of employment, you can apply to become a permanent employee and receive extra benefits as well as enjoy employment security.
Salary:
- Initial Salary: ¥245,000 per month
- Additional Allowances (Up to ¥24,000)
Total Starting Salary: ¥245,000 - ¥269,000 per month
(Allowance increases every 3, 5 and 10 years of service.)
Working Hours:
Work days are Monday – Friday, 9:00-18:00 or 8:30-17:30
Saturdays, Sundays and at most public holidays off.
10 paid holidays after six months with and additional day added per year. Holidays may be stacked for a total of 2 years.

- Travel expenses: Paid up to 30,000 JPY/month
