At World Unite Japan, we are looking for a passionate coordinator to support internships and cultural experiences for young people coming to Japan from all over the world.
Our Mission
We provide a platform to broaden perspectives and deepen mutual understanding through cross-cultural exchange. Your role is a vital one: supporting and accompanying participants behind the scenes to ensure their life in Japan becomes a lifelong memory.
Key Responsibilities
A coordinator's job is more than just administrative work. As a "bridge" connecting multinational participants with Japanese communities, you will handle the following:
Participant Support: Providing pre-departure advice, conducting arrival orientations, and offering daily life consultations during their stay.
Program Operations: Planning and executing cultural experience events, managing schedules, and arranging program placements/locations.
Communication: Coordinating with the global headquarters (Germany, etc.) and handling consultations via chat, email, and meetings in English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Interest in Cross-Cultural Understanding: Someone who enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
Flexibility: The ability to find positive solutions calmly even when faced with unexpected issues.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, understanding the nuances and intentions of others.
Autonomy: Someone who can identify tasks independently and take responsibility within a small team.
Requirements
Language Proficiency:
Japanese: Native level (Ability to use appropriate business honorifics and draft business documents).
English: Business level (Approx. TOEIC 800+ or equivalent speaking and practical skills).
Experience: New graduates or experienced professionals (Preference given to those with experience in study abroad support, the travel industry, or the education sector).
Skills: Basic IT literacy (Word, Excel, Slack, etc.).
Working Conditions & Benefits
Work Location: Tokyo Office (or Kyoto Office) / Remote work negotiable.
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (Probationary period included).
Salary: Determined based on experience and ability in accordance with company regulations.
Holidays: 2 days off per week, National holidays, Summer/Winter holidays, Paid leave.
