【Job details】
・Teaching English to ESL students
・Private and very small group lessons
・Preparing for classes based on the school curriculum and teaching materials
【Wage】
￥2,500 yen per teaching hour + 10 minutes of office rate (1,141 yen per hour) added for each class
(￥2,200 yen while on a probation period which can be somewhere between one and three months based on your performance.)
Teachers are expected to prepare their lessons in advance. Please note that Teachers are required to come at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the lesson in order to prepare.
【Available hours】
Friday (weekly)
・3:30pm-4:00pm Private beginner adult conversation
・4:20pm-5:20pm Beginner elementary conversation class
・5:30pm-6:20pm Advanced elementary conversation class
・6:30pm-7:00pm Toddler playtime
Friday (Once or twice a month)
・7:20pm-7:50pm Intermediate university conversation class
・8:20pm-21:00pm Intermediate adult conversation class
Thursday (Once or twice a month)
・4:20pm-5:20pm Beginner elementary conversation class
・5:30pm-6:20pm Intermediate elementary conversation class
・6:30pm-7:00pm Introductory elementary conversation class
・7:10pm-7:50pm Intermediate elementary conversation class
+Occasional Wednesday cover between 4:30pm and 7:50pm.
【Requirements】
・Native or near-native English proficiency
・Currently reside in an area within 35 minutes of JR Kawaguchi Station
・Holds a valid visa to work in Japan
・Can commit to at least 1.5 years but preferably longer
・1 year+ Teaching experience
・Can follow school curricula
・Friendly and responsible personality
Up to 20 hours of training, based on your learning speed, teaching skills, and the amount of students you are willing to teach, is required before officially starting. You will be paid office wage of 1,141 yen per hour during the training, and the total amount will be added to your first payment only upon completion of the whole planned training sessions and signing the contract.
