We are a Japan-based tutoring company looking for an online Biology tutor for an 11th grade boy who is currently attending high school in Florida. The student would like regular support with his high school Biology coursework through one-on-one online lessons.
Position overview
Employer: Japan-based private tutoring company
Student: 11th grade male high school student (studying in Florida)
Subject: Biology (high school level)
Lesson style: Online, one-on-one (from your home)
Schedule: Between 5:00–11:00 Japan time (JST), 1–2 hours per session, on an occasional / flexible basis
Hourly rate: 3,000 yen per hour (paid in Japanese yen)
Work location: Remote (online lessons from your home)
Start date: As soon as a suitable tutor is found
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of high school Biology
Ability to explain concepts clearly to an 11th grade student
Stable internet connection and a quiet environment for online teaching
Teaching or tutoring experience with teenagers is preferred, but not required
Language
Ability to speak Japanese is a plus, but not mandatory
