【ALT Position Opening in Central Tokyo!】
Borderlink, Inc. is now hiring for an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) position in Bunkyo City, Tokyo. Apply now to start working from September in a great area in central Tokyo. 【Position Details】
Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) work alongside Japanese teachers to make English lessons fun and engaging for the students. Practicing grammar and vocabulary, participating in games and activities to reinforce the lesson’s goals and communicating with students both inside and outside of the classroom are all part of a day’s work for ALTs.

⚫ Contract period: September 3rd, 2024 to March 25th, 2025
⚫ Contract type: Daily/Part-time
⚫ Level: One (1) Elementary schools
⚫ Total number of working days: 103
⚫ General working hours: Between 8:00 am to 17:00 pm (actual working time: 7 hours 15 minutes)
⚫ Salary range: Between 11,850 yen to 13,500 yen (daily rate)
⚫ Benefits: Social Insurance, paid holidays (as stipulated by the contract)

【About Part-Time Positions】
Please note that this position will have you working anywhere between 1 to 5 days per week, but the hours are the same as a full school day (shift between 8:00 to 17:00). Daily-rate positions are recommended for those with easily adaptable and flexible schedules in their other work.

【Requirements】
ALTs should be motivated, enthusiastic, professional and proactive in communicating with others. Successful applicants must also meet the following criteria:

🔺 Already be living in Japan and hold a valid visa permitting work
🔺 Be a university graduate holding a bachelor's degree or higher
🔺 Have conversational Japanese skills and be comfortable talking with teachers and staff
🔺 Have native-level English proficiency with natural phonetic fluency and a minimum of 12 years of education where the main language of instruction in all classes was English
🔺 Are in good health and able to commit and complete the contract period (until March 2025)
🔺Have prior ALT experience in Japan
