An international company with large-scale operations in Japan is looking for a Warehouse Operations Senior Specialist / Coordinator to support warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and operational improvement projects.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys hands-on operations, process improvement, and working closely with logistics and warehouse partners in a dynamic environment.
Location
• Main office in Shibuya, Tokyo
• Warehouse operations in Chiba (occasional site visits required)
• Hybrid work arrangement available depending on operational needs and individual circumstances
Main Responsibilities
• Support daily warehouse and logistics operations
• Coordinate with external warehouse and logistics partners
• Monitor operational KPIs, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency
• Assist with operational improvement and transition-related projects
• Review and improve operational procedures and processes
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Support warehouse ramp-up and operational coordination activities
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or related operational environments
• Experience working with warehouse vendors or 3PL partners
• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
• Strong coordination and communication abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements independently
• Experience with Excel and logistics/WMS systems preferred
