About the Role:
Dragon Dining is seeking a dedicated kitchen staff member to join our catering team at an international school. This role focuses on preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff in a dynamic multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fresh Sandwich Preparation: Create a variety of fresh, high-quality sandwiches daily.
Salad Bar Management: Prepare, maintain, and replenish the salad bar with fresh, nutritious ingredients.
Serving School Lunch: Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
Food Safety: Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards.
Kitchen Hygiene: Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
Working Schedule:
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (6 hours daily)
Important Note:
The position follows international school holidays, which differ from Japanese national holidays and standard school closures. Staff will be off during school holiday periods.
Requirements:
Conversational level English proficiency
Experience with food preparation preferred
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment
Friendly personality with strong teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: ¥1,200 per hour
Transportation Support: Travel assistance up to ¥1,000 per day
Meal Benefit: Lunch available for ¥100
Holiday Schedule: Time off during school holidays
