Artemodo Café & Wine Bar is looking for motivated, reliable seasonal staff to join our team in a unique setting where interior design meets hospitality.
We are hiring for various front- and back-of-house roles, including but not limited to:
Waitstaff / Servers
Bartender
Kitchen staff (chef, sous-chef, food prep, kitchen support)
This is a hands-on, dynamic environment, ideal for people who enjoy working in hospitality and being part of a small, collaborative team.
About Us
Located in the beautiful mountain town of Yuzawa, just 1 hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen, our café doubles as a furniture and interior design showroom.
Presentation, atmosphere, and guest experience matter as much as flavor.
This role is ideal for:

About the Role
Flexible schedule
Mainly weekends and holidays during summer
Daily operations during winter (our peak season)
Open to part-time, contract, or full-time
Short- or long-term opportunities available
Housing available in Yuzawa
For kitchen roles:
Open to experienced chefs and newer cooks ready to grow
Opportunity to contribute to menu development and food concept
Current Menu Style
French & Western-inspired comfort food with a focus on quality, simplicity, and presentation, including:
Cheese boards & wine pairings
Tapas and small plates
Salads, burgers, and hearty stews
Brunch-style plates during ski season
Who You Are
Passionate about food, service, and presentation
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Flexible, responsible, and guest-focused
Hospitality experience preferred, but not required for all roles
English-speaking; Japanese is a strong plus
