A fun new position for a tourism company.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Location: Harajuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, etc.. Other places possible such aa Shimokitazawa, etc
Contract Type: Part-time.
Job Type: Tour Guide/Customer Service
You will guide tourists around Tokyo following a pre-determined itinerary showing them different areas, assisting them, helping them complete the schedule smoothly, etc.. Your meals and transport are provided by the customers.

WORKING SCHEDULE
Mon – Sun.
A: 10:30–14:30.
B: 13:00–17:00.
C: 14:30-18:30.
We try to give you 1 week's notice before bookings, but would appreciate your flexibility to consider working with only 24 hours' notice.
Weekends mandatory, but not all tours are on the weekend.
Hourly rate: ¥2,000 per hour
Bonus ¥2,000 if you receive a 5-star review. (Maximum pay = ¥10,000 for 4 hours).
Tourists will sometimes give you tips up to ¥10,000.

REQUIREMENTS
Female only – guests often have young children and specifically request female guides.
Advanced/fluent English.
Intermediate Japanese minimum. Must be able to explain various Japanese things (menu, omikuji, kanji, etc.) to guests.
Interest in Japanese culture (Hello Kitty, Harajuku fashion and culture, purikura, food, anime, manga, gaming (not essential but a plus), maid cafes, animal cafes, etc.)
Experience dealing with tourists or at least a keen interest in tourists.
Good at striking up conversation, taking care of and entertaining guests, etc.
Must be positive, energetic, friendly and extroverted.
