This was a very expensive blanket when new, and excellent in cold winters. Particularly if you have a cabin or second home at higher altitude. Or if you keep the heat off at night.
Weight is estimated. It might be more. It's a lot of down. Super warm (too warm in warmer weather).
Ideal for "ski country" up in the mountains or in Hokkaido.
You can sleep without the heat on with this blanket! Safer if you use gas heaters (which should be turned off at night to mitigate hazard of fire in case of earthquake).
