These have a slight green (celadon) shade but they are not "real" celadon.
The design is hand-painted. The bowls are everyday stuff, from about 1950 or 1947 - 1955.
The kilns were not operating at highest quality for Japanese domestic market. Everything of high quality was exported to help re-build the Japanese economy, and only a few domestic buyers could afford the high quality.
Even so, with a few imperfections, these are quite charming.
