This is great stuff if you like to cook beans from dried form.
If you do, then you probably use a pressure cooker.
Epazote is an herb grown in Mexico and Guatemala that when a small amount is mixed in with your cooking beans, you don't have to be worried about the aftereffect of flatulence when eating the beans! It is also used to flavor dishes and to make medicinal tea.
I have two opened bags, and it lasts a long time. (I could kick myself for opening the second bag, but one day I couldn't find the one that I had already opened. I store these in the refrigerator.
This is traditionally for a Mexican kitchen and I often make refried beans for which this perfect. However, I think you could also cook it with any other kinds of beans, like USA BBQ beans, some Curry beans, and so on.
