Furniture Assembling service

Candidates must have the ability to speak conversational Japanese and hold a driver's license.
•This is a job involving the assembly of IKEA furniture.
•It is not a job where you “make adjustments at the end,” like in a renovation project. It is a job that has a clear right answer at the end. The work follows instructions precisely, so there are certain people who are more suited to this than others.
•Customer interaction is involved, so first impressions are important.
•You will be assembling various types of furniture, from large items to children’s furniture. For example: wardrobes, beds, sofas, desks, etc.
•You will visit 3–4 different homes per day, including private residences, tower apartments, and regular apartments, assembling furniture.
•On rare occasions, it might only take 3–4 hours to finish the job, but even in that case, you will be compensated for a full day's work.
•The products are already delivered to the rooms, but you may need to move them slightly to work efficiently.
•There are occasional trips to distant locations (such as Takasaki, Mito, Choshi, Yokosuka, etc.).
•Some tasks include wall mounting and other similar tasks, so you should be comfortable with such duties. Additional pay for extra tasks will be between 100 yen and 400 yen (depending on the number of items).
•During non-busy periods, even if you are scheduled for a shift, there may be occasions when work is canceled.
•Women are, of course, welcome. Tasks for women may include assembling smaller items, and when working solo, you will be under the same conditions as men.
Appeal Points:
•The homes you visit will vary greatly – from tower apartments with great views to resort condos in rural areas.
• You will get a glimpse into many different types of homes, from new properties to embassies.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
•At least 1 year of woodworking experience is required. Don’t worry about the technical aspects or know-how, as you will learn on the job.
•The most important qualities are being polite, friendly, and able to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who can apologize sincerely, assess the situation, and take appropriate actions without needing direction.
•No beards, piercings, excessive body hair, perfume, or smoking.
•As communication will be mainly done through LINE (a messaging app), you should be comfortable with it and not find it stressful.

Compensation & Benefits:
•This is a commission-based contract, so you will need to sign up for self-employed insurance (like a sole proprietor insurance).
Other Notes:
•Initially, you will attend training sessions for a week. After the training session, you will work independently.
• The daily pay during training is 5,000 yen (including transportation).
•Our office is based in Kōenji, so it would be helpful if you are located nearby.
•It may take some time for us to reply after reviewing your application, but we will get back to you as soon as possible.
•Once a contract is signed, you are expected to fulfill it without terminating the agreement early for personal reasons (such as only working during peak seasons). Contracts are renewed every 3 months.
