Position Overview:
As a School Bus Driver, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and drop-off of our students using the GGIS Bus Service. Additional duties include light maintenance tasks such as assisting with cleanliness and laundry when needed. While on duty, you are expected to communicate in English with students and co-workers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate the GGIS school bus for student pick-up and drop-off.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure student safety during transportation and at pick-up/drop-off points.
Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as keeping the bus clean and organized.
Communicate in English with students and staff.
Requirements:
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Has held a valid driver’s license in Japan for at least a year
Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills
Able to follow directions and work independently.
Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a professional driver, particularly with school or shuttle buses.
Familiarity with child safety protocols and regulations.
Basic conversational Japanese (optional but helpful).

Work schedule:
1. 3-4 Designated days Monday through Friday 13:30 - 19:00 PM
¥1,250 - ¥1,400/hour, depending on experience and professionalism. Salary can be negotiated.
Commuting expenses covered up to ¥15,000/month.
Weekends and national holidays off.
Salary increases awarded annually based on performance.
Work location: Togoshi-Ginza (within a 30 to 45-minute commute from Shinagawa/Meguro preferred).
Additional Information:
On-the-job training provided.
Must live within a commutable distance to the school.
