We are seeking an editor to support our production team with straightforward editing tasks.
The role primarily involves working with full-length footage (several hours long),
trimming out unusable parts—such as shaky or out-of-focus shots—and organizing the remaining clips
according to provided production guidelines.
The purpose of this position is to help reduce the workload of our lead editor.
Candidates must be comfortable working in Final Cut Pro at our office in the Shibuya/Ebisu area.
[Responsibilities]
- Review and trim raw footage to remove unusable shots
- Organize and structure footage following production guidelines
- Apply basic editing techniques (color correction, blurring, simple adjustments, etc.)
- Ensure footage is prepared for the lead editor’s review and final edits
- Collaborate with the team to maintain workflow efficiency
[Requirements]
- Must be able to commute to the office in Shibuya/Ebisu area
- Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro
- Basic understanding of editing principles
- Ability to organize and prepare footage efficiently
- Proficiency with Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Strong English and Japanese communication skills

2,500 yen per hour of footage cut
