We are an online gaming software developer operating as part of a major Japanese amusement group. We specialize in developing games for a Malta-based entity that holds a prestigious gaming license. While our main target is currently the European market, we are expanding our operations into the Asian market.
We are seeking an Interpreter & International Operations Specialist to bridge the communication between our domestic team and European hubs/global partner companies.
The primary interpretation duty consists of handling routine meetings approximately 3 times a week (around 1 hour per session). Please note that we require consecutive interpretation, not simultaneous interpretation, ensuring clear and accurate communication. Outside of these meetings, you will focus on translation work and international administrative operations. [Key Responsibilities]
Interpretation & Translation: Provide consecutive interpretation for regular meetings (approx. 3 times a week, 1 hour each). Translate business documents, contracts, and internal materials.
Hub Coordination: Act as a communication bridge to handle general inquiries and document preparation for international hubs.
Administrative Support: Assist with creating, reviewing, and processing approval requests (payment settlements, expenses, etc.) and preparing compliance materials for international regulatory authorities.
Global Alignment: Coordinate and align with domestic and international group companies regarding contracts, billing, and reporting.Travel business trips abroad as required.
[Required Skills & Experience]
Interpretation Experience (Mandatory): Hands-on experience in consecutive interpretation.

Business Experience: Background working in an administrative, operations, or corporate management department related to overseas business operations.
English: Business level or above (at least 2+ years of professional experience using English for reading, writing, and speaking).

Experience in translation or consecutive interpretation within the gaming industry.
Passionate about video games, or possessing a deep familiarity with the gaming industry.
Knowledge of management accounting (including reviewing English profit and loss (P&L) statements).

[Working Hours & Conditions]
Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent / Seishain) with a 6-month probationary period.
Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (8 hours work, 1-hour break from 1:30 PM–2:30 PM). *Shifted schedule to accommodate time-zone differences with Europe.
Overtime: Average of 20 hours/month (Fixed overtime allowance for 30 hours/month is included in the base salary).
Location: Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo (3-minute walk from Gotanda Station). Daily in-office attendance is required (No remote work).
Holidays: 2 days off per week (Sat/Sun/Holidays - 121 annual days off total), paid leave, maternity/childcare leave, and congratulatory/condolence leave.

[Salary & Benefits]
Annual Salary: 6,000,000 JPY to 7,000,000 JPY (Determined based on previous experience, skills, and past salary).
Monthly Salary: 500,000 JPY to 583,333 JPY (Includes base salary + Fixed overtime allowance for 30 hours/month).
Pay Raises: Once a year. (Note: No bonuses or retirement allowance).
