We are based in Nerima and provide share houses all over Tokyo with both Japanese and non-Japanese residents. As most of our houses are female only, we only accept female applicants for the job.
This is a great opportunity for you to improve on Japanese skills by communicating with Japanese staff members and gain experience in a Japanese work environment.
As a small company, everyone does a bit of everything. Tasks will range from marketing and copywriting, to appointments with our international residents, to cleaning and decorating. Therefore we are searching for flexible people who enjoy varied work.
We are looking for someone who can work for our company long-term.
Must be able to work Sundays + Monday, Wednesday or Saturday.
Fluent in English
Basic Japanese skills
Organized and can manage own time
Can work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and friendliness
Reliable and professional
Visa that allows working in Japan (with at least one year left; student visa with a work permit is acceptable)
Able to travel by train and bicycle to various locations in Tokyo (ability to ride a bicycle is essential)
Social media savy
Excellent written English (for blogs and social media posts as well as copywriting)
Any other languages spoken will be considered a plus
No dress code
Travel expenses reimbursed (up to 10,000 yen per month)
Flexible work schedule
Possibility of a full time position in the future
Once you have been fully trained there is the chance to pursue own projects to help market the houses. This position is perfect for people who want to learn about and gain experience in share house and guest house management as you will be involved in all aspects of the business.
