The Role:
We’re hiring a general assistant / sales representative, with the potential to grow into a managerial role. This is a versatile position focused primarily on furniture and décor sales, but also supporting interior styling projects, customer relations, and event logistics.
You will work closely with the founder and have the chance to be involved in many aspects of the business.
Responsibilities Include:
• Sales and customer service at pop-up events and stores across Japan: Tokyo area, West Tokyo, Yokosuka, Sasebo, Iwakuni, Misawa, and near Hiroshima
• Showroom assistance at our furniture & décor showroom and café in Yuzawa, Niigata
• Helping with product orders, inventory, and coordination with suppliers
• Office support: replying to customer emails, tracking shipments, placing material orders
• Basic accounting and translation (if applicable)
• Assisting with interior styling and project execution (occasional and project-based)
• Frequent travel to various locations to support our growing event and store schedule
Who You Are:
• Passionate about furniture, interior design, and creating beautiful spaces
• Friendly, organized, and naturally good with people
• Self-driven and able to work independently, while enjoying teamwork
• Comfortable working closely with strong women leadership in a creative, fast-paced environment
• Flexible and eager to take on new tasks and challenges
• Bonus: Experience in furniture sales, interiors, retail, social media, or logistics
• Bonus: Japanese language ability (not required, but helpful)
Important Notes:
• We do not sponsor visas. You must already have a valid work visa (working holiday visas may be considered)
• You must be comfortable with frequent travel throughout Japan
• Being based in Tokyo is preferred — please let us know if you already have an apartment or are open to relocating
