We are looking for immediate support for a short-term Localization QA project in Tokyo. If you love gaming and have a sharp eye for Indonesian linguistics, we need your help to get this project across the finish line!
This is a project-based gig through mid-May—perfect for freelancers or those looking for a high-impact short-term role.
The Role
- Playtest unreleased games to identify linguistic errors, mistranslations, or UI/UX issues in Indonesian.
- Ensure cultural nuances are accurately reflected for the Indonesian market.
- Report bugs clearly in English or Japanese, including suggested fixes.
Requirements:
- Native Indonesian speaker.
- Valid Work Visa: Must already reside in Japan with a valid permit.
- English or Japanese proficiency (Business level for reporting/communication).
- Available to work on-site in Tokyo (remote work is not available for most projects).
- Passion for games and attention to linguistic and cultural detail.
- Bonus/Preferred: Interest in or knowledge of VTubers and related culture.
