Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented individual fluent in both Japanese and English to join our IT call center team. As a Bilingual Japanese-English IT Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues or seeking assistance with IT-related queries. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service in both languages, troubleshoot technical problems, and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

-Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and chats from Japanese and English-speaking customers regarding IT-related issues.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with hardware, software, applications, and network systems.
-Provide step-by-step guidance and instructions to customers in Japanese and English to resolve technical issues.
-Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams for further investigation and resolution.
-Document customer interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, accurately and comprehensively.
-Follow up with customers to ensure that technical issues are fully resolved and that they are satisfied with the solutions provided.
-Stay updated on product knowledge and IT industry trends to provide accurate information and support to customers.
-Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer support experience.

Requirements:

-Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) is essential.
-Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in an IT-related field, is highly desirable.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers of diverse ----backgrounds and technical knowledge.
-Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems.
-Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
-Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
-A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
-Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support or customer service are a plus.
