Deskside Support:
• Performing trouble ticket and issue tracking;
• Monitoring and problem resolution in response to incidents and Service Requests as per defined Service Levels;
• Providing field site support in response to issues with the Desktop, Laptop, thin clients, printers, network lines and devices, Telephony, local servers, and UPS
• Help switch UPS batteries in the TR/Data rooms
• Providing of On-site support for the End User workstation locations;
• Perform replacement and data wipe of devices locally;
• Configure physical components according to the established environment and performance standards;
• Disconnect/de-install Supported Desktops and/or component software as directed by the End User when the End User makes a disposition decision or advises of termination or cancellation if needed.
• Isolate end users devices locally from the domain in the situation of virus/spam ware/ransomware corruption
• Coordinate with product vendors during onsite visits
• Asset Labelling for inventory & CMDB recording. Hands and feet support for pasting of tags on asset (asset tagging)
• Assist the End User in diagnosing and implementing Desktop or Laptop corrective actions. The Supplier will perform:
o Interview the End User’s personnel to determine the problem;
o Check for the proper boot-up procedure;
o Check for proper operation of system devices;
o Check the specific failure or problem reported by the End User;
o Perform software diagnostics to the extent allowed by the software vendor;
o Resolve the problem to include but not be limited to the following:
1. Resolve device driver conflicts;
2. Resolve software incompatibility issues;
3. Resolve software configuration issues;
4. Perform virus eradication; Hands and feet support for removing the device from network & quarantine virus & Malware
5. Set up user directories;
6. Configure remote access services;
7. Configure administration information;
8. Create and clear print queues;
o Perform network conductivity test including login, file access, and printing;
o Configure and test user directory synchronization;
o Reload application using the End User provided software media;
o After resolution of the problem, test for full functionality, connectivity, access to server and printers;
o Obtain the End User’s confirmation that problem resolution is complete.



· Fluent in Japanese and moderate level English.
