Role Overview:
We are looking for a customer-focused Level 1 Infrastructure & Deskside Support Engineer (1–2 years of experience) to serve as the face of IT on-site at our premium client's office in Tokyo. You will resolve day-to-day user issues and assist with local infrastructure maintenance while enjoying full visa renewal support from us.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deskside Support: Provide friendly, hands-on, and remote support for Windows/macOS laptops, mobile devices, printers, and meeting room AV systems.
-User Management: Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace accounts (password resets, licensing, and onboarding/offboarding).
-Local Infrastructure: Assist with basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, cabling) and local server room maintenance under remote engineering guidance.
-Asset Tracking: Keep an accurate inventory of client IT hardware and peripherals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: 1–2 years in an IT Helpdesk, Deskside Support, or Tech Support role.
Languages:
-Japanese: Native or Business level (JLPT N2 minimum is strictly required).
-English: Conversational (for internal communication and ticketing).
-Tech Skills: Windows 10/11, macOS, Active Directory/M365, and basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.
