We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Japanese-Mandarin Deskside Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software. Fluency in Japanese and Mandarin is essential.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Technical Support:

Provide deskside support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
Strong knowledge of computer systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Customer Service:

Deliver support to employees in Japanese and Mandarin, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Assist with IT inquiries and provide user training.
Fluency in Japanese and Mandarin required; proficiency in English preferred.

Documentation and Reporting:

Document support activities and prepare technical documentation.
Report support trends to the IT Support Manager.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work with IT team and other departments to resolve issues and improve IT processes.
Maintenance and Upgrades:

Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance and perform updates, backups, and security checks.
Support new technology implementations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years in deskside support or similar IT role, preferably in a bilingual environment.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) is a plus.
